Summit forum focusing on industrial internet held in Tongzhou
The 2021 Nantong 5G Industry Alliance Industrial Internet Tongzhou Summit Forum was held in Tongzhou district, which is administered by Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province, on April 22.
Lu Zhonghua, deputy district head, attended the event and delivered a keynote speech in which he stated that with the opening of the Shanghai-Suzhou-Nantong high-speed railway and the construction of Nantong new airport and a high-speed railway along the northern bank of the Yangtze River, Tongzhou district has become a hub of the flux economy in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Moving forward, Tongzhou will focus on new infrastructure and accelerate the construction and deployment of 5G base stations as well as the industrial internet with low time-delay, high reliability and wide coverage. It will also concentrate its powers and resources, and roll out preferential policies to push forward the development of new-generation information technology, Lu added.
Lu hoped that a large number of entrepreneurs will update their concepts, seize opportunities and accelerate the deep integration of 5G and industry to enhance their core competitiveness.
During the forum, Xudong Auto Parts Manufacturing (Nantong) Co Ltd, Jiangsu Mengxing Intelligent Technology Co Ltd and Federal Network Technology Service Nantong Co Ltd signed strategic cooperation agreements with the Tongzhou branch of China Mobile.
Officials from the district's development and reform commission and public security bureau explained relevant policies.
In recent years, Tongzhou district has adhered to an innovation-driven development strategy, focused on promoting the application of 5G and the industrial internet, accelerated the transformation of manufacturing towards digitalization and intelligentization, and realized full coverage of 5G networks in urban areas, key towns and core commercial areas.
