Haimen to launch year-round tourism activities

Haimen district in Nantong will launch a series of cultural and tourism activities to boost tourist consumption, as well as to enhance its reputation as the hometown of Zhang Jian (1853-1926), an industrial magnate and scholar in modern China, local media outlets reported.
According to the district's culture and tourism authority, bazaars themed around the four seasons will be held all year round, involving food, accommodation, travel, shopping, and entertainment, with discounts available every month.
The spring bazaars will be held at commercial complexes like Shishan Square and Wenfeng Big World, featuring cultural performances, intangible cultural heritage items, as well as cultural creative products.
The summer bazaars will take place in scenic areas like Jianghai Park and Zhang Jian Cultural Tourist Site, featuring various night markets.
The autumn bazaars will be held in public green areas, such as Funan ecological corridor, featuring cultural performances, a tourism festival, and displays of intangible cultural heritage items.
The winter bazaars will be located in scenic areas like Jiangong Lake and Zhang Jian Cultural Tourist Site, featuring a grassland music festival and a lantern show.
