A new site for COVID-19 vaccination in Rudong county – administered by Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – was reportedly scheduled to open on April 1.

Located at the west of Rudong County Sports Center, the vaccination site was built and will be operated by the Juegang Town Central Health Center to ensure the smooth progress of vaccination.

Equipped with multiple functional areas, the site is able to provide one-stop services covering information registrations, vaccinations and observations. It is also equipped with first-aid facilities and drugs to immediately deal with any abnormal situations and suspected adverse reactions.

The site will have nearly 100 staff members in charge of inquiries about diagnosis, registration, vaccination and other work each day.

They will be able to give shots to up to 5,000 people daily.
