The press conference of the 2021 Yangtze River Delta automobile and motorcycle off-road invitational tournament was held in the Nantong Central Innovation District on Dec 29. The organizers introduced the race to be held on the forthcoming New Year's Day and answered journalists' questions.

According to the hosts, 150 contestants from the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region will participate in the event.

With a venue located in the Flower Town in Tongzhou district, it will be a high-speed obstacle course with multiple cars. The race consists of preliminary and final stages. Vehicles are required to complete the 1.8-kilometer multi-lane course passing various artificial and natural obstacles.

This year, a motorcycle performance has been added to the race. Full of thrills and excitement, it promises to be a must-see visual feast.

In a bid to implement the requirements on epidemic prevention and control and avoid crowds, the event will be livestreamed through a WeChat account. Fans can watch the race through their mobile phones.
