The second China Marine Economy Expo (CIMEE) kicked off at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center on Oct 15.

Nantong CIMC SinoPacific Offshore & Engineering Co Ltd, or CIMCSOE, as an important member of CIMC's energy and chemical sector, demonstrated its professional capabilities in high-end marine equipment such as small and medium-sized liquefied gas refueling/transport ships, and TypeC liquefied natural gas liquid tanks/LNG fuel tanks to the global market at the expo.

Themed Opening-up and Cooperation, Mutual Win and Sharing, the 2020 CIMEE aimed to promote global enterprises to integrate into the sharing ocean economy.

Under a situation of increasingly serious global environmental problems, the use of clean energy has shown rapid development, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) has become the first choice for marine clean fuel.

Keeping up with market demands, CIMCSOE has focused on the design and construction of high-end clean energy equipment to provide professional and reliable services for global customers for over a decade, and has won a high international reputation.

At present, CIMCSOE has the most orders for LNG transport refueling vessels in the world and is building the world's largest refueling vessel with a capacity of 20,000 cubic meters. It also has a world-class design and manufacturing team for TypeC fuel tanks, as well as a cutting-edge automatic welding assembly line.

The self-designed and built TypeC liquid tank/LNG fuel tank has set a number of world records, including occupying the largest market share in the world. Meanwhile, the world's largest LNG fuel tank with a capacity of 12,300 cubic meters is to be built at CIMCSOE.
