Jiangsu Beinaide Electrical Technology Co Ltd, based in Rudong county, Nantong, is engaged in the production of high-end welding masks. It has invested nearly two million yuan ($293,135) in research and development, and applied for more than 100 patents.

Beinaide's featured product, a darkening welding mask, sells well in Europe and the United States. It has orders scheduled until December and sales are expected to exceed 80 million yuan ($11.8 million).

In the automatic workshops of Beinaide, injection molding machines work in an orderly way, and workers only need to perform operations such as material selection, temperature monitoring and pressure adjustment.

As Jia Weidong, chairman of Beinaide, explained, all the water, electricity, gas and raw materials are transported to each machine through pipelines.

"The smoke created by welding has been identified as a strong carcinogen in Europe," Jia added. "We developed the respirators last year and have sold them in European and American markets."
