As a birthplace of the textile industry in modern China, Nantong boasts rich textile resources and drives the development of the home textile industry, with products sold to more than 130 countries and regions.

Chuanjiang town in Tongzhou district has become China's largest home textile industry cluster area after many years' development. Taking high-level home textile as its development target and advanced manufacturing and modern service industries as the way to achieve that goal, Chuanjiang town accelerates industrial transformation and upgrading and promotes high-quality economic development.

According to local media, in order to stimulate the original design power of China's home textile industry, the China Home Textile Association and Tongzhou district municipality jointly launched the 13th China (Chuanjiang) Home Textile Painting Fair. Paintings from more than 100 enterprises have been collected.

A livestreaming will be held on Sept 2 and 3. Industrial experts and representatives from the exhibitors will display their paintings and explain the design concept and styles during the livestreaming. Interested parties can get in touch directly with those exhibitors with whom they wish to cooperate, with lower costs for viewing rough sketches.

Shao Aijun, Party secretary of Chuanjiang town, said that the livestreaming will create a new development mode and strengthen the innovation ability of the home textile industry in Nantong, promoting the industry as a pillar of regional economic development.
