The nameplate of Liujia Bookstore in Tongzhou district, Nantong was officially unveiled on Aug 17.

Liujia Bookstore is not a traditional bookshop. It is the first Taofen bookstore, a brand representing reading for all people. It was built by Nantong and invested by social funds in Tongzhou district. With Xinzhi Bookstore as its predecessor, Liujia Bookstore has transformed gorgeously and become a shareable public reading space.

In recent years, Tongzhou district has been committed to promoting public reading habits and continuously improved its reading facilities. The library in the urban area is a national first-class library and the villages and towns have achieved full coverage with branch libraries. Each village has its own rural library.

The establishment of Liujia Bookstore has injected new vitality into wide-spread public reading in Tongzhou district.
