An activity aimed at inspiring artists was launched by Nantong's literary federation on April 15.

The activity saw more than 70 local artists from 14 artist associations and eight county-level literary federations visit the Zhou Ji Green Expo Garden and the Flower Town in Tongzhou district, Nantong. 

The artists enjoyed the gorgeous sun-lit spring scenery and warm breeze at the two scenic spots. Most of the artists are members of local writer, artist and photographer associations. They recorded the tour through photos, paintings and poetry.

The artists intend to showcase the beauty of Nantong through different artistic mediums. The works are expected to attract more visitors to the city.

The activity will be held every month in different counties and districts around Nantong, and the artworks will be displayed online, in newspapers, in the media and at exhibitions.
