Nantong museums promote online cultural products during temporary closure

A total of 23 museums and 50 officially protected cultural sites in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, have been temporarily closed since late January due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus.

To enrich people's lives, the museums have been promoting digital cultural products, enabling people to enjoy online exhibitions as planned activities and exhibitions have been cancelled or postponed.

Online exhibitions of European ceramics and cultural relics symbolizing good luck have been launched on the Nantong Museum's official WeChat account (NantongMuseum). Rugao's museum has also launched an online exhibition about ancient coins on its WeChat account (gh_591b07e5dad6).

China Audit Museum is promoting virtual touring and live-action exhibitions on its official website (http://www.audit.gov.cn/museum/).

Jiangsu Jianghai Museum recommends stored cultural relics regularly on its WeChat account (jssjhbwg). Nantong Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture has also launched a "3D museum" on its WeChat account (ntzyybwg).
