A pair of 12-meter long chunlian, or spring couplets, are hung on both sides of a 106-year-old bell tower in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on Jan 19. The activity was one of a series of Spring Festival celebrations that have been held by Xinhua Daily Media Group across the province for the past four years.
