The third Nantong Photography Exhibition opened on Dec 29 at the headquarters of Nantong Daily Media Group in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province. It will run until Jan 10, 2020.

Organizers of the competition have received nearly 3,000 submissions since it was first launched in March, 120 of which have been put on display after being professionally evaluated.

Exhibits are divided into two categories, documentary and arts, with 60 items in each category. The photos focused on Nantong's industrial and social development over the past few years.

There are also 272 photos on display for the 23rd Jiangsu Provincial Photography Itinerant Exhibition. The photos are meant to help boost Nantong's cultural and art industries.
