The Yangkou Port Modern Logistics Industrial Park, located in Rudong county, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, was recently recognized as a provincial demonstration park for its productive services on a list issued by the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission.

The park has also been honored as a provincial key logistics center and the city's modern logistics demonstration area.

The industrial park was established in February 2006 and consists of two major sections, with a total area of about 3,000 mu (200 hectares).

One section is used to receive and store liquefied natural gas (LNG), while the other is a supporting logistics area for the port featuring a bonded logistics center, warehouses for new building materials, and an LNG distribution center.

In recent years, the industrial park has been promoting the development of the productive service industry through the gathering of resources and scaled operations.

The park also plans to improve its supporting facilities and public service platform, develop into a technology incubator, and build an LNG energy center.
