Construction of a science and technology museum in Haimen is expected to be completed by the end of October, according to local officials.

More than 250 workers were sticking to their posts during the National Day holiday to ensure steady progress on the construction.

Construction on the museum’s exterior has been completed and interior decorating and landscaping are currently underway. The installation of electric equipment will begin soon, officials said.

The museum is expected to start trial operations in May 2020, with a variety of exhibitions, lectures, and sci-tech activities being held.
