Haimen People’s Hospital moves to new location
Haimen People's Hospital has moved to a new location and is now is in trial operation there, according to local media reports.
The new location, located on the north side of Beijing Road and on the west side of Haixing Road, is on a 15.5 hectare site and has a construction area of 205,000 square meters.
The new hospital includes an outpatient building, a medical technology center, an inpatient building, an emergency medical and medical inpatient office building and a catering facility. The total investment was about 1.5 billion yuan ($212 million).
The hospital has 1,640 beds and 1,597 parking spots.
Hospital officials said it cost nearly 300 million yuan for its high-end medical equipment, including an environmentally friendly dual-source energy spectrum CT scanner – as well as nuclear magnetic resonance, B-ultrasound and endoscope equipment.
Of the 19 operating rooms, two can perform a variety of high-precision surgery and microsurgery and two digital surgery rooms can perform the dual functions of remote surgery guidance and teaching.
The Digestive Endoscopy Center was constructed according to domestic first-class standards. The physical examination center has a clear layout and complete inspection programs.
Hospital officials added that the hospital comes equipped with more than 80 self-service machines. These can arrange appointments and registrations, payments and some have face recognition functionality.
There are a variety of payment methods such as mobile payments, self-service machine payments and face recognition payment – providing more convenience for patients.
