Hai'an welcomes pear harvest

Fruit farmers pick pears in Dagong town, Hai'an, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on Aug 4. In recent years, Dagong Town has planted more than 1,000 mu (66.67 hectares) of pears. Local government departments are also helping fruit farmers develop local pear brands. According to local media reports, the pears are sold to Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, Shanghai, Nanjing, Jiangsu province and other places.
