Residents from Nantong’s Tongzhou district can purchase agricultural products from Shaanxi’s Zhenba county in certain chain stores in the near future.

The Tongzhou district has reached cooperative intention to sell agricultural products made by enterprises from Zhenba county, according to a fair meeting held on July 10 in Tongzhou’s Administrative Center.

Shaanxi’s Zhenba county is a targeted poverty alleviation county of Tongzhou district. The county has rich products, including tea, agaric, and tree cauliflower.

As coastal areas in East China, Tongzhou has many enterprises that excel in agricultural production and marketing.

This fair meeting will enhance communication between the two sides and achieve win-win results.

Cao Jianxin, vice district head of Tongzhou welcomed the delegation from Zhenba county and gave an introduction of agricultural industry development.

“We have made great efforts to develop modern agricultural industry centering on the strategy of rural vitalization,” Cao said. “We welcome friends from all walks of life from Zhenba county to provide suggestions on the cooperation of agricultural products,”he added.
