More than 30 projects fought it out in the final of the 4th Haimen Entrepreneurship Competition opening in Haimen, Nantong, in eastern Jiangsu province, on May 24, according to the local media.

The competition focused on outstanding entrepreneurial teams and high-tech projects in the fields of biomedicines, high-end medical equipment, intelligent equipment, intelligent buildings, new materials and modern home textiles.

The final brought together innovative and entrepreneurial resources from home and abroad, in an event organizers said would boost the industrial transformation and upgrade of Haimen city.

Since 2016, the metropolis has held the entrepreneurship competition for three consecutive years, attracting the participation of nearly 1,000 from China and internationally. Of these, some 17 outstanding projects have settled in Haimen.
