According to local media reports, the opening ceremony for a 523 Culture Art Festival was held at the 523 Cultural Industry Park in Hai'an, Nantong, a city in East China's Jiangsu province, on May 23.
As a national cultural demonstration center, the Hai'an 523 Cultural Industry Park has attracted many artists since its establishment in early 2009. It has gradually created its own unique cultural development model and has become a well-known cultural center with great influence throughout the Yangtze River Delta.
After the opening ceremony, eight new key cultural projects were signed. Furthermore, a series of activities, including exhibitions of classic Yangtze River Delta folk songs and dances and cultural and creative products, and an exhibition of artworks by 100 artists, were held during the festival.
The festival is expected to help domestic and foreign merchants, artists, and cultural and creative workers form cooperative relationships and develop. It is also expected to provide a platform for cultural enterprises to hold art exhibitions, trade products, and exchange information.
