Construction work at 20 key projects worth more than 100 million yuan ($14.90 million) began in Haimen, Nantong, in eastern Jiangsu province, with the launch ceremony held on March 21, according to local media.

The 20 projects will attract investment of 4.8 million yuan from nine districts and towns in Haimen.

The project covers areas including high-end equipment manufacturing, biomedicines, new energy and modern home textiles.
