Nantong's Flower Town will become a modern agriculture-themed tourist resort after the completion of the second phase of the project.

The Flower Town is located in the Jinxian port in Nantong. The tourist spot is an important project for both Nantong and Tongzhou district.

A total of 2 billion yuan ($299.2 million) has been invested to build the town. The number of tourists reached over 540,000 since the town opened to public last year.

The town is expected to be built into an influential tourist destination in the Yangtze River Delta area. There are many seasonal flowers in the town for tourists to enjoy blooming flowers in different seasons, including tulip, oriental cherry and China rose.
