Zhongtian Technology (ZTT), a Nantong-based cable manufacturer, has become highly valued for its quality products and services since it entered the Indonesian market in 2006.

The firm has invested 355 million yuan ($52.43 million) in an Indonesian factory, starting operations in Jakarta in September 2018, with an annual production capacity of 1 million kilometers of cable.

The factory has not only helped improve the communication and power network in the city, but also created jobs for local residents.

In recent years, ZTT has been actively participating in developing infrastructure in countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

Its sales in BRI countries accounted for more than 70 percent of its total overseas sales.

Six overseas manufacturing plants have been set up, with its products sold to 61 countries.

Orders to the ZTT Indian branch have been scheduled till 2021. And with a professional team for general contracting, the company has won the bid of two national power projects in India.

According to a senior executive of the company, ZTT will extend international cooperation from processing and manufacturing to high-end fields such as research and development, marketing and management consulting.

The company will also place more emphasis on outbound investment, with the aim of establishing 10 overseas production bases and 60 overseas offices by 2025.
