The total export value of agricultural products of Haimen, Nantong, east China’s Jiangsu province, in 2018 was $27.34 million, an increase of 32.4 percent over the same period of last year, according to the municipal agriculture bureau.

The growth rate ranked first among the cities and counties of Nantong.

In 2018, the municipal agriculture bureau focused on the high-quality development of agriculture and promoted the adjustment of the agricultural industrial structure in each district.

Among agricultural-related companies, Nantong Lianhai Weijing Bio Co exports goods worth $14.267 million, accounting for half of the city’s total. In addition, Nantong Qiangsheng Agricultural Technology Development Co has successfully filed for a vegetable supply base for Hong Kong.
