A month is left before the Spring Festival holidays and moth orchids are approaching their peak selling season in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province.
Many local residents flock to flower markets to buy floral centerpieces and bonsai to decorate their homes as the Chinese Lunar New Year approaches.

"Young people have become the main force in buying the flowers, and we have cultivated a variety of species to meet their demands," said a manager of a flower plantation in Tongzhou district.
According to a business insider, gorgeous colors and a long staying power (usually two months) make moth orchids the primary choice for consumers. And this year's price will be lower than last year, thanks to sufficient supply.
