The Third Session of the 14th Hai'an Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) was held in Hai'an, Nantong, a city in East China's Jiangsu province on Jan 3.

CPPCC members participated in the session to debate the work of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC Hai'an Committee and a report on how the Standing Committee has handled proposals put forward by committee members since the previous session.

During the session, the committee's members gave suggestions in light of their own work and discussed key issues about Haian's economic and social development.
