New library starts trail operation in Rudong county

A new library started trail operation after a year of construction at Rudong county, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province on Jan 1.
Covering a total area of 16,000 square meters, the library has 400,000 collections.
It includes areas for reading and entertainment. The library also opens areas for visually-impaired people, grown-ups and children to improve the service for readers.
According to a staff member of the library, readers can apply for library cards on the intelligent self-service facilities.
The library also launched intelligent self-service for readers to borrow and return books.
"It is more convenient for us to read books here," said Sun Qian, a local resident.
