Nantong opened its first 24-hour self-service areas in Tongzhou district on Dec 24 in an effort to provide more convenient government services for the public.
The self-service area can provide photography service for licenses and certificates, real estate ownership information query service, traffic violation handling service and social security information query service.
This area is located on the first floor of the district's government service center. It is established to deepen the reforms to streamline administration, delegate powers, and improve regulation and services.
This is also known as a new way to promote the "Internet Plus government service".
Internet Plus, similar to Information Superhighway and Industry 4.0, was proposed by Premier Li Keqiang in his government work report on March 5, 2015 so as to keep pace with the information trend.
