A total of 15 key projects worth 4.5 billion yuan ($652 million) have been confirmed for East China’s Haimen, with a commencement ceremony held on Dec 21, according to the official WeChat account of Haimenfabu.

Chen Yong, secretary of Haimen Municipal Party Committee, attended the commencement ceremony and announced the start of construction work on the projects.

The 15 projects are located in eight districts and towns of Haimen city, covering fields including high-end equipment manufacturing, biological medicine, new materials, modern home textiles and luxury food.
