Nantong Middle School on national top 100 high schools list
Nantong Middle School has been listed in the "Top 100 China's Best High Schools", which was released during the China's Elite Schools' Principals Innovation Forum in Beijing on Dec 18.
The schools nominated for the list are those with both a high teaching quality and good social reputation.

Nantong Middle School was founded by Zhang Jian, industrialist and scholar in the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) in 1909. Since then, the school has cultivated many talents in all walks of life, including volleyball world champion, Zhang Jieyun, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Li Daqian and famous painter, Zao Wou-Ki (Zhao Wuji).
In addition to Nantong Middle School, four high schools in Jiangsu province were on the list, which are High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University, Huaiyin Middle School, Suzhou High School and Huaizhou Middle School.
