Haimen, a county-level city of Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province, held an event to promote its robotic industry in Beijing on Nov 20. 

The people’s government of Zhengyu town in Haimen reached a cooperative agreement with Beijing Yichuang Intelligent Robot Industrial Park at the promotional event. 

Meanwhile, agreements for five robot-related projects, including a constructive robot project which attracted a total investment of one billion yuan ($144.4 million), an intelligent industrial robot controller project and an intelligent equipment project were signed.

The enterprises settled in the robotic industrial base of Zhengyu town have developed advanced technologies, and mastered four industrial robot core technologies, such as RV reducer and harmonic reducer. 

The base is expected to build into an industrial robot research and development manufacturing base with the most complete industrial chain and innovation elements in China within 10 years.
