NETDA, Changsha strengthen innovation synergies in new energy sector

The new energy session of the "NETDA Cup" talent and technology roadshow hosted by the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) was held in Changsha, Hunan province, on May 16.

The event brought together over 100 people, including experts, entrepreneurs, and venture capital representatives, to explore pathways for energy innovation.

During the session, NETDA signed agreements for four talent-driven technology projects and facilitated industry-academia collaborations between three key enterprises in NETDA and Central South University (CSU) in Changsha, strengthening innovation synergies for new energy development.

The event attracted 14 new energy projects for on-site roadshows, with experts from CSU and venture capital firms like Sunz Fund providing live evaluations and professional recommendations on business models and technological breakthroughs.

Additionally, the NETDA delegation visited key institutions like the State Key Laboratory of Powder Metallurgy at CSU and BASF Shanshan Battery Material Co, conducting in-depth discussions on talent recruitment, industry-academia collaboration, and commercialization of scientific achievements.

As one of China's first 14 national-level economic development zones, NETDA has strategically built a comprehensive industrial chain spanning photovoltaics, energy storage, and power batteries.
