Overseas doctors converge at NETDA, expanding talent pool
The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area held an event, welcoming 45 doctors who graduated overseas on Nov 18.
The event, hosted by the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jiangsu Province and organized by the Nantong Municipal People's Government, brought together over 100 participants, including representatives from over 30 local business and public agencies.

The event was participated in by Gu Chao, deputy director of the Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and Wang Xiaobin, executive deputy mayor of Nantong.
Gu emphasized the significance of the event, as it connects Ph.D. holders who graduated overseas with job opportunities in Jiangsu.
Wang highlighted Nantong's strategic location, its position on the fast track of high-speed development, and the city's commitment to talent cultivation.
During the event, the area showcased its commitment to becoming a central hub of vitality, emphasizing the integration of talent, innovation, industry, and capital. The event resulted in approximately 25 preliminary cooperation intentions, fostering collaboration between overseas Ph.D. scholars and local enterprises.
