NETDA's biomedical industrial park listed among nation's top 10

The biomedical industrial park in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) in East China's Jiangsu province was listed among the nation's top 10 such parks, the 2023 ASAP BioPharma Conference announced on June 29.

The assessment was conducted based on indicators of talent, technology and geographical location.

The 4,100-mu (273.33 hectares) industrial park, which was planned and designed by Irish PMG in 2012, features a 2,900-mu manufacturing area, a public service area, and an incubation area.

The industrial park is currently home to industry-leading enterprises such as Merck Nantong Pharmacy Co, NOVAST Laboratories and Shanghai Pharma Jiangsu Co.

These achievements were largely due to efforts by authorities to boost the area's biomedical industry, including rolling out more favorable policies and providing effective government services.
