Time to have a visual feast in Nantong

Colorful plum blossoms of different varieties in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, are now blooming. Time to come enjoy the flowers!

Langshan Mountain is home to more than 200 mu (13.33) of plum trees in over 10 species. Most of these trees are grown around Yingshan Lake and at the foot of Meilin Mountain.

Binjiang River is also a great place to enjoy the colorful spring scene. Most of the more than 500 plum trees of over 10 species beside the river have come into flower.

Another spot for plum blossoms in the city is Seyuan Garden and there are only two species of plum blossoms featuring red petals in the garden.

The plum trees around the tomb of Zhang Jian (1853-1926), a renowned industrial magnate, educator, and scholar in Nantong, in the garden have a history of nearly 100 years.
