As dusk fell on July 28, Qitang City, a Tang Dynasty (618-907)-themed cultural destination in Qidong, a county-level city in Nantong, came alive with a steady stream of visitors wandering through its illuminated streets and alleys.

The evening's centerpiece was a ceremonial parade led by a performer portraying a Tang Dynasty-era prefect, who guided crowds through the attraction site while offering insights into the region's historical market culture, Silk Road connections, and coastal heritage.

Since the start of summer, the attraction has rolled out an expanded lineup of nighttime programming. Highlights include water curtain light shows, boat performances, and a lantern-lit procession winding through the main thoroughfares.
