A signing ceremony for the intelligent computing center information interconnection intelligent manufacturing project operated by Rudong-based ZTT Group took place on June 5.

With an investment of 500 million yuan ($73.91 million), the project will be located in the Rudong Economic Development Zone and is expected to start operations in July 2027.

The project will focus on the research and development, production, and sales of information interconnection products, tackle key technologies for low loss and low latency information interconnection, and adapt products for use in strategic sectors like intelligent computing centers and ultra-high speed information exchange.

Yang Wanping, Party secretary of Rudong, said the project will provide a strong boost to the county's digital economy as the global intelligent computing industry expands, computing power networks accelerate their rollout, and demand for communications infrastructure continues to grow.
