Qidong
Qidong is a nation-renowned "city of marine economy". With a coastline of 203 kilometers, it has more than 400 square kilometers of tidal flats. Lyusi Fishing Port is one of the four largest in China; and the total fish volume of Lyusi Fishing Port, which is one of China's six largest fishing ports, accounts for a third part of Jiangsu province's total fish harvest each year.
In 2025, Qidong recorded a gross regional product of 155.68 billion yuan ($22.77 billion ), up 5.4 percent year-on-year. The added value of the primary industry reached 10.31 billion yuan, up 3.2 percent; that of the secondary industry reached 71.30 billion yuan, up 4.3 percent; and that of the tertiary industry reached 74.08 billion yuan, up 6.8 percent. The ratio of the three industrial sectors was 6.6:45.8:47.6.
