Communities across Qidong celebrated Lantern Festival with a variety of lively cultural activities, bringing residents together to enjoy the festive spirit.

At Zhigong Xincun Community, red lanterns were hung throughout the venue, while slips of paper carrying lantern riddles invited participants to test their knowledge. A traditional folk experience area recreated the ancient game of pitch-pot, in which participants throw arrows into a pot from a distance. The community prepared the necessary props and explained the rules, allowing young people to experience the same forms of entertainment enjoyed by people in ancient China.

Another popular attraction was the ring toss game area, where residents eagerly tried their luck. The chance to win prizes added to the excitement.

In Yuantuojiao village's Bo'ai Home, a children's reading activity was organized. Through group recitation, children explored the beauty of traditional culture and gained a deeper appreciation for Lantern Festival.
