Now is the most dazzling time of the year in Langshan Mountain Scenic Area in Nantong, Jiangsu province.

Starting from late October, various deciduous trees in the area begin their colorful transformation. Trees such as the phoenix tree and spindle tree initiate the autumnal display, soon followed by ginkgo, Japanese maple, and red maple trees.

Among the autumn sights at Langshan Mountain, the ginkgo trees stand out. Draped in their golden attire, they create a picturesque contrast with the ancient historical buildings, forming the most majestic of scenes.

At the entrance to the mountain, the golden ginkgo trees complement the rustic architecture, welcoming visitors to a delightful autumn journey. In front of Faru Hall, the ancient ginkgo trees, with their sturdy trunks and golden leaves shimmering in the sunlight, add a sense of majesty and mystery to the historical building. Looking back, the large cliff carvings beneath Xianglu Peak stand out prominently amidst the ginkgo branches and leaves. The ginkgo trees outside Guangjiao Temple are also a must-see. The ancient temple, set against the backdrop of golden ginkgo trees, exudes tranquility and solemnity. As you stroll through, you can almost hear the echoes of history.
