Qidong supported 74 vessel calls transporting wind turbine blades in the first 10 months of this year, exporting a total of 2,422 blades valued at over $370 million — double the amount recorded in the same period last year.

Local ports also conducted inspections for 659 inbound and outbound vessels and handled 13,056 crew movements, representing year-on-year increases of 24 percent and 20 percent respectively. The figures highlight Qidong's rapidly strengthening competitiveness in foreign trade.

Wind turbine blades are large and difficult to handle, making efficient customs clearance essential for reducing logistics costs and maintaining global business credibility. To ensure smooth and timely exports, the Qidong Border Inspection Station provides 24-hour clearance services, enabling vessels to undergo inspection immediately upon request and complete procedures without delay.
