Wu Xinming, Party secretary of Nantong, Jiangsu province, met with Takashi Ikeda, president of DIC Corp, on Nov 2 to discuss further cooperation.
Wu greeted Takashi Ikeda and his team, thanking DIC Corp for their ongoing support in Nantong's development. He noted that, as national strategies like the Yangtze River Delta integration progress, Nantong has become an increasingly attractive city with significant potential, drawing many foreign companies, including DIC, to set up operations.
Currently, Nantong is promoting the deep integration of technological and industrial innovation, accelerating the development of new quality productive forces tailored to local conditions. DIC, a globally recognized fine chemical company with the world's leading market share in the ink industry, has been deeply rooted in Nantong for over 20 years.
Wu expressed hope that DIC would use the opening of its new factory to drive the development of more high-quality projects in Nantong. Nantong continues to focus on building a first-class business environment that is market-oriented, rule-based, and internationalized, aiming to support foreign enterprises in their growth and expansion.
Takashi Ikeda said that Nantong has a solid industrial foundation, a strong atmosphere of innovation, and a favorable business environment. DIC plans to utilize the new factory to maximize its benefits, increase investment, and create connections to draw more upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain.
