Zhongtian Iron and Steel Group (Nantong), located in Haimen district, has recently introduced the 635MPa high-strength HG6(E)/C threaded steel, which is China's highest-strength construction rebar, representing a major advancement in domestic steel technology. 

This new product increases the load-bearing capacity and seismic resistance of concrete structures, fulfilling the design needs of complex architectural projects. It also adheres to national green building material standards, boosting construction efficiency and reducing material consumption. 

To achieve this milestone, Zhongtian has organized a dedicated R&D team that researches chemical composition optimization and ‌rolling process refinement. By adjusting production workflows and key parameters, the company has secured stable mass production. 

Currently, this high-strength rebar has been applied in major national projects‌, including Yiwu Comprehensive Bonded Zone's Belt and Road International Supply Chain Project‌, Hangzhou's civic parks and public facilities‌, and the new Mengyuan Campus of China Academy of Art.
