In the northern part of the Yangtze River Delta, the Vanyang Crowd Innovation Park in Rudong county in East China's Jiangsu province has rapidly emerged as a new landmark for the high-end lubricant industry.

Launched in 2021, this innovation park has transformed from a barren expanse of land into a specialized base hosting over 50 companies, including six national high-tech enterprises, filling a critical gap in the local high-end lubricant supply chain.

As a key project invested by the Vanyang Group, the innovation park aims to set a national benchmark by establishing a full-chain system comprising research and development, production, testing and storage.

Spanning around 24.4 hectares, the project is being developed in five phases. The first two phases are already operational, showcasing the initial effects of industrial clustering.

As construction advances, the full-chain support system will be further enhanced, strengthening the industrial agglomeration effect and laying a solid foundation for establishing a national benchmark in the high-end lubricant industry.

Che Jianbo, general manager of the Jiangsu RunYL New Material Technology, a settled company in the park, highlighted the park's dual advantages in "communication and coordination" and "industrial clustering", saying it facilitates policy support from the government authorities and daily interactions with other enterprises, allowing the company to focus on core business activities.

The concentration of upstream and downstream enterprises within the park provides ample opportunities for expanding sales channels and increasing market share, Che said.
