Four new projects to land in Nantong's Rudong county
Four new projects will move to the Rudong Economic Development Zone, located in Rudong county in Nantong city, East China's Jiangsu province, in the wake of a signing ceremony that took place on Sept 20.
With an investment of 1 billion yuan ($140.81 million), the first project is an integrated manufacturing and service base for energy storage systems. It will feature an intelligent energy storage production line, which is projected to produce 10,000 sets of mobile energy storage systems, 10,000 sets of industrial and commercial energy storage systems and 100,000 sets of energy storage modules annually.
Costing 2 billion yuan, the second venture is a battery cell and portable energy storage battery module production plant, which is expected to generate an annual output value of over 2.5 billion yuan at full capacity.
Another project focuses on the production of new display optical materials, which is expected to achieve annual sales of over 2 billion yuan at full production.
The last project, Jinheng Modern Logistics Park, will involve the construction of bulk logistics warehousing, supply chain logistics centers, countywide postal and express distribution hubs, e-commerce cloud warehouses and other industrial platforms, providing drivers for the county's e-commerce industry.
These new projects are expected to further advance Rudong's development in the new energy, high-end manufacturing and green economy.
