The high-end equipment industry output of Nantong in Jiangsu province grew by 11.8 percent in the first seven months of this year, local media reported.

Since the beginning of this year, the city's high-end equipment manufacturing industry has been continuously delivering advanced productive forces, driving the local industry's accelerated transformation and upgrading.

Nantong's high-end equipment industry currently has an output of more than 140 billion yuan ($19.65 billion). It boasts a solid foundation in traditional fields such as key components, engineering machinery, and instruments, while also achieving continuous innovation and breakthroughs in areas like industrial robots and aerospace.

At the workshop of Jiangsu Yingmaijie Machinery Co, several intelligent production lines are operating in an orderly manner. At the entrance of the workshop, several finished automatic tube-changing and yarn-merging machines are about to be shipped to Hubei province. This yarn-merging machine is an automated upgrade of traditional ones, significantly enhancing output efficiency and quality.

As a high-tech intelligent textile equipment manufacturing enterprise, Yingmaijie consistently prioritizes innovation, driving the iterative upgrading of core technologies. Its products are widely used in textiles, automotive, and construction, and are exported to regions like Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Discussing future development, Shi Yongsheng, deputy general manager of Yingmaijie, said that the company will continue to invest heavily in artificial intelligence to achieve high-value production.

Rollers, as key components of marine turbochargers, have extremely stringent parameter requirements. Nantong Mairuite Electromechanical Equipment Co has achieved production precision approaching the micron level. Technician Sun Pengfei said, "Our components exceed the specifications required by the blueprints. These dimensions and concentricity basically reach the micron level, which is 0.001 millimeters, equivalent to one-tenth the thickness of a human hair."
