The 15th Global Tiger Day was celebrated on July 29. Nantong Forest Safari Park in Jiangsu province marked the occasion by introducing a special highlight: the Siberian tiger triplets born in April this year.

In response to the summer season, the keepers intentionally arranged a "dining table" with fresh lotus leaves, decorated with pink lotus flowers and green lotus seeds, and served carefully prepared nutritious meat mince, forming a distinctive Chinese-style "lotus banquet" for the three tiger cubs.

At the event, a professional veterinary team performed the first public health check-up for the tiger cubs. They measured weight, checked teeth development, and evaluated cardiovascular function. The data indicated that the three cubs currently have healthy physiological indicators and are growing well.

As a national first-class protected animal, the Siberian tiger's wild population remains endangered. Artificial breeding and nurturing are crucial methods for conservation. Nantong Forest Safari Park's choice to display the cubs on Global Tiger Day responds to public interest and seeks to increase awareness about the status of Siberian tigers and the importance of protecting endangered species.
