The 57,000-square-meter Zhongtian Naisi special cable project, a provincial and municipal key project with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan ($208.97 million), is rapidly taking shape in Hekou town, Rudong. A portion of the factory's equipment has already been installed and put into operation, with production lines beginning to run.

Focusing on the R&D and manufacturing of 5G and new energy special cables, the project is set to produce 80,000 kilometers of special cables annually upon completion.

Backed by the technological expertise of its parent company Zhongtian Technology Group, Zhongtian Naisi's 5G communication cable technology is already world-class, supplying key sectors such as 5G base stations and offshore wind power.

Designed for sustainability, the factory integrates its equipment with an energy management system to ensure 100 percent green electricity supply once fully operational. This will result in an annual carbon reduction of 3,500 metric tons, the equivalent of planting 190,000 trees.
