The 25th Jiangsu Photographic Art Exhibition, the province's most prestigious and influential photography showcase, opens on June 19. This year, Qidong photographers have made a strong impression, with six works by five local artists selected for the exhibition.

First launched in the 1960s, the Jiangsu Photographic Art Exhibition is the longest-running and largest comprehensive photography event in the province. Over the past 24 editions, it has spotlighted countless outstanding works, nurtured generations of talented photographers, and documented the flourishing development of Jiangsu's photography scene.

The 25th edition includes four major categories: Documentary, Artistic, Creative & Commercial, and Short Video. A total of 12,260 entries from 1,958 photographers were submitted. After a strict and fair selection process by a panel of experts, 253 works were chosen for exhibition.

Qidong's strong showing once again highlights the city's artistic vitality and the growing strength of its photography community. The achievements of local photographers reflect both individual talent and the city's broader cultural development.
