This year marks the tenth anniversary of the life of French national Stephane in Qidong, a coastal city in Nantong, Jiangsu province. Over the past decade, Stephane has walked the length and breadth of the city, mapping its streets, seasons, and spirit — not just with his footsteps, but with his heart.

From morning walks along the river to quiet moments in local communities, he has embraced the rhythm of daily life in Qidong.

As the city grew and transformed, so did Stephane's bond with it. The warmth of neighbors, the flavor of local food, and the sense of belonging in a community all became reasons to stay.
