Zhixin Technology, based in Rugao Economic and Technological Development Zone, has made a breakthrough in solving chip heat dissipation — a critical hurdle in semiconductor performance.
The company was founded by Pan Yuanzhi, born in 2001. "Ceramics are insulating and heat-resistant but brittle. Metals conduct electricity and are ductile but soften easily. By combining the two, we aimed to leverage their strengths," Pan explained. "We figured out how to make metal 'grow' onto ceramic, enabling both electrical conduction and efficient heat dissipation."
These innovations enhance the lifespan and operational performance of chips, rendering the products applicable in high-power lidar, RF communications, power modules, and various other semiconductor and optoelectronic fields.
So far, the company has created more than 500 new products, introduced 10 proprietary manufacturing processes, and secured 15 intellectual property rights. Zhixin is also engaging with universities and research institutes, aiming to explore additional upstream and downstream segments of the industry chain.
